Hasbro Recalls Toy Super Soakers Sold At Target

What was supposed to be a piece of summer nostalgia has been pulled from Target shelves. Hasbro has recalled Nerf Super Soaker models XP20 and XP30. The water guns were designed to look like the classic models from back in the day. The Super Soakers were recalled because of the possibility of the decorative sticker containing levels of lead that might exceed the government limit. The water guns were sold between March and July 2020. The two models included in the recall are: Super Soaker XP 20, a green and orange hand-held water blaster, sold for about $7.99, and the XP 30 is an orange and blue water gun that sold for $12.99.

People who purchased one of the models can return it to the point of purchase for a refund. Did you play with Super Soakers when you were a kid?
