Health Officials Give COVID Safety Advice For Halloween

If you're planning to let your kids participate in Halloween festivities this year, health officials have a few pieces of advice for keeping them safe from COVID-19. Trick-or-treating isn't recommended since it puts people outside your social circle in close proximity with others. Perhaps consider leaving prepackaged goodie bags outside your door. A costume mask is no substitute for the real thing, and putting one over the decorative facial covering could cause difficulty breathing. Skip parties and especially haunted houses. Instead, host a virtual pumpkin carving. How are you planning to deal with Halloween this year?
