However, as of 2022, Ed and his son Adam Tonkin have stepped into the ownership box for the Hops, bringing with them a wave of excitement and change.
In the words of Ed Tonkin himself, "The Tonkin family has enjoyed having the Hops ballpark named 'Ron Tonkin Field' in memory of our father." But with new ownership comes new opportunities, and the Tonkin family is proud to be part of this exhilarating chapter for the Hillsboro Hops.
