Now in its fourth year, Power of the Purse pairs Portland's most notable leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists with local purse designers to create handbags of their dreams. Each piece is a unique work of art that is auctioned off during a live fashion show showcasing the fabulous handbags, the creative individuals who inspired the design, and the bright stars of the evening—Girls Inc. girls. This event sells out each year.
