Heart-stopping video posted yesterday shows the ride swing left and right as it gains speed to reach to the top, sending riders upside down. As it stays at the top for a few seconds, a woman is seen dangling in the air after her safety bar opens up. The woman is then sent smashing to the ground when the ride descends and hits her. It is believed that nearby onlookers attended to the woman and took her to safety as soon as the staff stopped the ride.
It is not known if the unnamed woman suffered any injuries from the impact. According to local media reports, the accident happened on June 14 at the Kataplum amusement park in Plaza las Antenas in the Mexican city on the Rio Grande.
